Base Materials + Key Additives  

1. Material selection pain points exposed; flaws of traditional materials visible at a glance.

✅ Steel Grating: Severe rusting in acid and alkaline environments, heavy self-weight, and high costs for rust removal and maintenance in later stages.

✅ Solid Wood Grating: Prone to swelling, mildew, insect infestation and rot when damp or waterlogged; service life outdoors is less than 3 years.

✅ Low-grade Ordinary PVC Grating:Uneven foaming, easy brittleness and cracking, deformation at low temperatures, and surface blooming.

2. Basic Raw Materials

PVC resin SG-8: The core base material for grating molding.

Light Calcium Carbonate: Main filler, which greatly enhances the rigidity and hardness of gratings and effectively controls production costs.

Foamed Recycled Material: Recycled production scraps for raw material cost savings.

Production Process

Every procedure from material mixing to finished products is strictly controlled.

1.Raw Material Mixing

Precisely proportion materials according to the formula. First dry-blend PVC, calcium powder and recycled materials, then add Maijisen additives and conduct high-speed mixing to ensure even dispersion of raw materials.

2.Plasticization & Extrusion

The blended raw materials are fed into the extruder. Adjust the temperature of each section and screw speed to fully plasticize the materials.Strictly control the melt temperature to prevent thermal degradation and abnormal foaming.

3.Foam Molding

After the melt is extruded through the die head, the foaming agent decomposes to form uniform cells. The foaming regulator controls the cell structure throughout the process, ensuring consistent wall thickness and stable dimensions of the grating.

4.Cooling & Sizing

The formed grating panel are rapidly sized by cooling units to reduce deformation and ensure dimensional accuracy. Finished products are obtained after subsequent cutting and edge trimming.

1.Technical Commissioning & Problem Solving

We offer free on-site technical commissioning for all partners. We resolve common production issues of PVC foamed grating panel, including uneven/collapsed cells, warping, surface wrinkles, flow marks, yellow discoloration and brittleness.

Based on on-site equipment conditions and raw material ratios, Maijisen technicians will optimize formulas and processes to fix production problems on the spot. This helps cut trial costs, stabilize production and greatly improve the finished product yield.

2.Free Sampling & Custom Formulation

We supply free samples of foaming agents, Ca/Zn stabilizers, lubricants, foaming regulators, CPE, 3316F and more. Custom formulas are available to fit your PVC foamed grating production needs.
