3316F is a high-performance processing aid that functions as both a plasticizer and lubricant agent for PVC, wood-plastic composites (WPC), and polyolefin-based products. With an oxidized polyethylene wax content exceeding 99%, it delivers exceptional lubricating efficiency and fusion promotion. This additive is widely used in polyethylene, polypropylene, EVA, polybutylene, and PVC production to accelerate processing rates, improve wood powder dispersion, enhance product strength, and maintain homogeneity.

2. Product Principle:
3316F operates through a dual mechanism of plasticization and lubrication. The high-content oxidized polyethylene wax provides excellent internal and external lubrication by reducing friction between polymer chains and between the melt and processing equipment surfaces. This lowers melt viscosity, improves flow characteristics, and promotes uniform dispersion of fillers such as wood flour. The unique chemical structure of oxidized polyethylene wax also enhances interfacial adhesion between polar wood fibers and nonpolar polyolefin matrices, contributing to improved mechanical strength. The 30000 cps viscosity at 140°C ensures stable melt behavior during processing, while the 145°C melting point guarantees complete fusion under typical extrusion temperatures.

3316F delivers outstanding processing efficiency with a molten drop point of 138°C and melting point of 145°C, ensuring early activation and sustained lubrication throughout the extrusion process. The acid value of 16 KOH/g indicates a controlled level of oxidation that enhances compatibility with polar fillers. Hardness below 0.5 dmm confirms a soft, lowabrasive nature that reduces equipment wear. The high viscosity (30000 cps at 140°C) provides excellent melt strength and stability, enabling consistent product quality at high line speeds. The odorless formulation ensures a safe working environment.

4. Usage and Dosage:
Recommended addition level is 0.3–0.5% based on total formulation weight. For WPC applications with wood flour content exceeding 50%, dosages toward 0.5% are recommended to achieve optimal dispersion and strength. For standard PVC extrusion applications, 0.3–0.4% typically provides sufficient lubrication and fusion promotion. Systematic trials should be conducted to optimize dosage for specific formulations, equipment, and processing conditions.
