This PE co-extruded fabric surface material is specifically engineered for WPC (Wood-Plastic Composite) outdoor products. As a high-performance co-extrusion layer, it provides exceptional aging resistance, fade resistance, and UV protection, significantly enhancing the durability and aesthetic appearance of WPC decking, fencing, railing, and other outdoor applications. The precisely balanced formulation of PE, PP, and TPE ensures optimal processing characteristics and long-term weatherability.
Product Principle:
During co-extrusion, this material forms a protective layer over the WPC core. Polyethylene (64.5%) offers moisture resistance and processability; polypropylene (15%) adds stiffness and heat resistance; thermoplastic elastomer (20%) provides flexibility and impact strength to resist cracking during thermal expansion. Anti-aging additive (0.5%) forms a UV and oxidation-resistant barrier. It creates a durable, color-stable layer that protects the WPC core.
Performance Characteristics:
With a softening point of 135–145°C, this material maintains structural integrity under typical outdoor service temperatures. The oxidation induction time (OIT) of ≥50 minutes demonstrates exceptional resistance to thermal-oxidative aging, ensuring long-term performance in sun-exposed applications. Melt flow rate of 0.8–1.7 g/10 min (190°C/2.16kg) provides excellent processability during co-extrusion, enabling smooth, uniform coverage over complex profiles. The density of 0.95–1.0 g/cm³ closely matches typical WPC core densities, minimizing interfacial stress and ensuring consistent co-extrusion behavior.
Usage and Dosage:
This material serves as the outer layer in co-extrusion, usually at (0.5–1.5 mm) thickness (0.8–1.2 mm) for standard WPC decking and fencing). It is fed via a secondary extruder and combined with the WPC core in the co-extrusion die, processed at 170–200°C.

1. Superior Weather Resistance and UV Protection:
The specialized anti-aging additive system provides outstanding protection against UV radiation, preventing color fading, chalking, and surface degradation. This ensures that WPC products maintain their original appearance for years of outdoor exposure.
2. Enhanced Durability and Longevity:
By forming a tough, flexible barrier against moisture, oxidation, and mechanical abrasion, this co-extrusion fabric significantly extends the service life of WPC products. The high OIT value (≥50 min) confirms exceptional resistance to thermal-oxidative aging.
3. Excellent Aesthetic Appeal and Color Retention:
The smooth, uniform surface produced by this material accepts pigments uniformly and retains color intensity over time. It provides a premium look and feel that enhances the marketability of outdoor WPC products.
4. Optimized Processability for Co-extrusion:
The carefully balanced melt flow rate (0.8–1.7 g/10 min) ensures stable co-extrusion with minimal die swell and excellent layer adhesion. The material flows smoothly around complex profile geometries, producing consistent coverage without voids or defects.

1. WPC Decking:
This co-extrusion fabric is ideal for WPC decking boards, providing a durable, weather-resistant surface that withstands foot traffic, moisture, and UV exposure while maintaining its attractive appearance.
2. WPC Fencing and Railing:
For fencing and railing systems, the material delivers long-lasting protection against fading and degradation, ensuring that outdoor barriers remain visually appealing and structurally sound for years.
3. WPC Cladding and Siding:
In exterior wall cladding applications, this surface layer shields the WPC core from rain, sun, and temperature fluctuations, contributing to energy efficiency and building aesthetics.
4. Outdoor Furniture and Structures:
For WPC outdoor furniture, pergolas, and gazebos, the co-extruded fabric provides the weather resistance needed to withstand constant sun exposure and seasonal weather changes.
5. Marine and Waterside Applications:
In docks, piers, and boardwalks, the material's moisture resistance and UV stability ensure long-term performance in challenging aquatic environments.
