Product Principle：
MSS 1020 is a chemical foaming agent that decomposes at 150°C, releasing gas to form bubbles in PS melt during extrusion. Its decomposition matches PS rheology, forming bubbles at the ideal viscosity for stable cell structure, avoiding gas loss and ensuring uniform nucleation. It produces fine, even cells for excellent surface smoothness and mechanical properties.

Performance Characteristics：
MSS-1020 offers stable foaming performance with a gas volume of 130 ml/g, ideal for low-to-medium density PS foam. With a density of 0.4–0.6 g/cm³, it disperses uniformly during compounding. It decomposes at 150°C, matching standard PS processing conditions for reliable activation. Its white powder form ensures clean handling and accurate dosing.

Usage and Dosage：
Recommended dosage: 0.5–2.5% based on foam density, thickness and application; 1–2% for PS blinds, 1.5–2.5% for high-end boards, with final optimization via trials.
