As an advanced acrylic copolymer, it effectively reduces both processing temperature and plasticizing time, significantly improving production efficiency. 2. Product Principle:
ACR808 is a core-shell structured acrylic copolymer composed of styrene, methyl methacrylate, and butyl acrylate in optimized proportions. During PVC processing, the polymer chains of ACR808 interpenetrate and entangle with PVC molecular chains, promoting rapid and uniform plasticization. This interaction increases melt cohesion and elasticity while reducing melt viscosity, enabling lower processing temperatures and shorter plasticizing times. The butyl acrylate component provides excellent impact modification through a rubbery phase that absorbs and dissipates impact energy, while the methyl methacrylate and styrene components ensure compatibility and effective stress transfer between the modifier and PVC matrix.

ACR808 delivers exceptional processing efficiency with reduced plasticizing temperature and time, enabling energy savings and higher throughput. The high fineness (≥98% through 40 mesh) ensures rapid and uniform dispersion throughout the PVC compound. The low fugitive constituent (≤2%) guarantees clean processing with minimal emissions and plate-out. Recommended addition level is 1–5% based on total PVC formulation weight, depending on the specific application and required impact performance. For standard rigid PVC profiles and pipes requiring moderate impact modification, dosages of 1–3% typically provide optimal results. For high-impact applications such as window profiles or automotive components, dosages toward 4–5% are recommended. Systematic trials should be conducted to fine-tune the dosage for specific equipment, formulations, and performance requirements.
